Deep Impact Chrome (DIC) with Improved Covering Power

With the existing Plating on Plastics (POP) technology, the chrome covering power is insufficient for parts with recessed areas that require weatherability, creating a corrosion concern. This means that the unplated areas need to be painted, resulting in high cost and design restrictions.
To address these concerns, we developed the Deep Impact Chrome (DIC) technology that has 10 to 25% higher covering power than the conventional process.
